Gary T. Levy , DVM, Diplomte ABVP(Companion Animal Specialty)
| Dr. Levy is a 1982 Graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. He has been with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since 1973, when he started as a veterinary assistant. He became Board Certified by the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners(ABVP) in the specialty of Companion Animal Practice in 1993 and is one of only three such specialists in Louisiana. The ABVP promotes and recognizes high standards in the art and science of Veterinary Practice. Dr. Levy has served twice as the President of the Southeast Louisiana Veterinary Association and currently serves on the Louisana Board of Veterinary Medicine. He is married to Claudia and they have three children, two cats (Missy and Munchkin) and a dog (Oscar). |

Marlowe A Ward , DVM
| Dr Ward is a 2004 graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. She returns to her native New Orleans from Houston to be a vital part of the rebuilding of this great community. In addition to her expertise with dogs and cats, Dr. Ward also has an interest and extensive experience with exotic pets. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, Dr.Ward was a paramedic with the city of New Orleans. She is married to Ochsner cardiologist, Dr. Rob Bober. She and her husband share their home with two dogs, Sammy and Laney, and one cat, Cash. |

Jessica A Leto , DVM
| Dr. Leto joined our staff as a veterinarian in June 2008, but really just "came home" , as she spent many years with us before throughout her preveterinary studies. |

Erin R. Reif , DVM Dr. Reif is a graduate of the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine and has been on staff at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since the spring of 2002. Though now living in California with her husband, she still 'commutes' to be with her favorite patients here in New Orleans every other month.
Myron W. Smith , DVM, Retired

Dr. Smith is a 1961 Graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. He has been a partner at Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since 1977. He is a past President of the Association of New Orleans Veterinarians and past member of the Louisiana Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners. Dr. Smith 'fully' retired in August 2007 to spend more time travelling, gardening and visiting his grandchildren. |

James Ll. Heintz , DVM, Retired

Dr. Heintz graduated from Tuskegee Institute School of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He joined Lakeview Veterinary Hospital that same year. He has been active in the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Association and is a past president of the Animal Emergency Clinic Board of Directors. He is also actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America. He is presently on the clinical faculty of the Tuskegee School of Veterinary Medicine and remains involved with rebuilding efforts of our main hospital. |

Robert J. Morris,Jr., DVM, CFP , Founder, Retired

Dr. Morris graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1965. He founded Lakeview Veterinary Hospital in 1971. For the past 20 years, he has provided Veterinary Practice Management Consulting to a number of veterinary practices throughout the southeast United States. In June of 2000, he officially retired and is enjoying his grandson and just might start a vineyard! Dr. Morris remains involved with the rebuilding efforts of the main hospital. |

Sandy M Hallner , Business Manager

Sandy is the 'baby' sister of practice founder Dr. Robert J. Morris and has been with Lakeview Veterinary hospital 'forever'(1972)! Sandy has long served as our business manager. She is married to Greg and they have a daughter, Jen, and their dogs,Toots and Chloe. |

Jennifer has been Technician Supervisor since 2005 and with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since 2001. She has been a veterinary technician since 1997. Jen is recently graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree from Our Lady of Holy Cross College. Jen enjoys going to dinner, movies, and listening to music. |

Sheena Brewer
Sheena Brewer, an LVH technician since 2002, attends Tulane University and works at the Tulane University Medical School . She is a fourth year biological science major and plans to attend veterinary school. When not consumed with the hustle and bustle of school and work, Sheena enjoys gardening, outdoor activities, and reading. In addition to her duties here at LVH, Sheena continues her care of companion animals through pet sitting. Sheena resides in La Place wiht her pets - three dogs: Summer, Atilla & Gumbo 5 cats, Moses, Cappuccino, Lola, Clyde and Hercules, fish, Sadam, a parrot named Waldo. |

Ms. Marisa Fife
| Marisa joins us from Massachusetts, where she studied biology and animal science at the Universuity of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has extensive experience with wildlife and large animals. She enjoy Margaritas and long walks on the beach, and lives with her Chow, Elwood. |

Sarah Rawlings
| Sarah, originally from Orlando, Florida, received her B.A. from William & Mary College in Williamsburg, Virginia. She has moved to New Orleans to complete her medical school pre-requisites at Tulane University. Sarah has been with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since March 2008. |

Chloe Mayne
| Chloe graduated from Ben Franklin High School in May 2007. She is currently attending the University of Southern Mississippi where she is pursuing her degree in biology. She hopes, one day, to get her D.V.M. and specialize in exotic animals. When not working or going to school, Chloe enjoys spending time with her two cats, boating in City Park, and photographing local wildlife. She has been with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since February 2007. |

Renee Woods-Huete
| Renee was born and raised in River Ridge, Louisiana. She received her B.A. at Southeastern Louisiana University in 2004. She married her husband, Will, in November 2006. They currently live in Metairie with their two American bulldogs, "Joon" and "Charley." Renee has been with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since March 2008. |

Courtenay Woodhead
| Courtenay grew up in New Jersey and moved to New Orleans in June 2004 to attend UNO on a full academic scholarship. She stayed through Hurricane Katrina and hasn't left the city since. Courtenay is currently finishing her undergraduate degree in Biology and her future plans include applying to the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. When Courtenay is not working or in school, she spends most of her time with "Reilley," her American bulldog, reading, music, movies, and being outside as much as possible. She joined Lakeview Veterinary Hospital in May 2008. |

Amanda Scully | Amanda was born and raised in Asheville, NC and in 2002, she moved to New Orleans to attend Loyola University. She graduated from Loyola in 2006 with a B.A. in Psychology. She is now enrolled in the Veterinary Technician program at Delgado Community College and will graduate in May 2009. She and her fiancee Vincent currently live in Lakeview with their cat Jax. |  View |
Sabrina Behbahani | Sabrina grew up in Bethesda, Maryland and moved down to New Orleans in August 2008 to pursue her Master's degree in Public Health at Tulane University. She graduated from the University of Maryland-College Park with her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science. She currently lives in mid-city with her beagle-terrier, Layla, and her two cats, Dionysus and Hermione. She joined LVH in mid-August 2008 and has been working as a veterinary technician since 2004. She is trying to decide between Veterinary school and Physician Assistant (PA) school. She will also be signing with the U.S. Public Health Service later this year. |  View |
Ashley Donohoe | Ashley joined the Lakeview Veterinary Hospital family in July of 2008 after moving to New Orleans from West Virginia. She recently graduated from Washington and Lee University with a B.S. in Biology. She has a dog, Darcy and a cat, Dynasty. |  View |
Reception
Nancy Lecorgne , Client Services Coordinator Waking before the sun and arriving at Lakeview Vet every weekday before office hours, Nancy gets a headstart on the days' chart updating, appointments, and phone messages since 1991. Before she starts the reception work, Nancy makes her rounds through the hospital to make sure that all of the pets had a good night sleep. If Nancy can't be seen at the reception desk, she can be heard in some part of the hospital singing oldies, her favorite type of music. On the weekends, Nancy enjoys riding her bike, walking (if New Orleans heat and humidity allow), visiting with her mother, and spending time her 4 cats and her German Shepherd, "Blackie." |  View |
Catherine Provost
|
Cat joined us with our move back to Memphis St. in the spring of 2006. She is an experienced small and exotic animal veterinary technician. She graduated in 1996 from Warren Easton Sr. High School and also attended the University of New Orleans. Catherine is currently pursuing a degree at Delgado as a Medical Laboratory Technician. She has a pug (Rocko),two cats (Bette and Tina), three corn snakes (Adam, Eve, and Steve), two ball pythons (Akasha and Lestat), and a pacman frog(Fat Albert). |

Lauren Gardner
| Lauren joined our clinic in May 2008. She shares her Lakeview home with her family, including a Labrador Retriever named Khaki Pants and a domestic rat named Sundae. In her spare time, Lauren likes to draw and read. She is also an active member of her neighborhood. She attended Dominican High School for two years and graduated from Ecole Classique in 2005. Lauren enjoys working with animals and seeing all the friendly, furry faces that come into our hospital. |

Gayle Taylor | Gayle joined our staff in September 2008. She is also a long time resident of Lakeview. Her family consists of her husband Tommy, two daughters, Jennifer & Rebecca, a son-in-law, Paul and three beautiful grandchildren, Olivia, Abram & Kate. Her four-legged family includes a Dalmatian named Riley, and three cats, Lil' Bit, Puddin, and Oliver. Gayle has 20 years in education and she says she, "gave up the two legged kids for the four legged ones". When she is not working at the clinic, she enjoys gardening, crafting, and spending time with her family and pets. |  View |
Theo Casten Theo has been with Lakeview Veterinary Hospital since 1992. She is an avid bird lover and rehabilitator, and specializes in keeping her pets well cared for into their senior 'plus' years. Her newest companion, a dog, Whiskey(a.k.a Patron)often greets clients with her at the front desk in the afternoon. She has moved to Florida but expects to visit often.
